# Nook Agent

> Nook Agent is a concept by Spectralmoon Studio. Nook, a small red panda, catches the notes, messages, links, code and clips you drop in, so you can pick up the thread later. It is a working concept, not a released product: saving and search work in the visitor's own browser, and there is no desktop file access and no agent backend yet.

## Key facts

- What it does: keeps the little things a visitor drops in (notes, messages, links, code, clips) in one place, so they can be found again later.
- Where saving happens: the visitor's own browser, on that device, through the page's local storage. The page scripts make no network requests to save or search what is kept.
- Search: the search on the page finds things the visitor has kept in that browser. The connection demo runs on a fixed example collection of seven things about one café plan, not on the visitor's data.
- Accounts: there is no sign-in and no account on the page.
- Not built yet: desktop file access, an agent backend, and syncing between devices.
